Bengkel Kereta Berakas Sdn Bhd (BKB) is a private limited company incorporated in Negara Brunei Darussalam runs an independent vehicle workshop and services at Lambak Kanan Industrial Area Jalan Berakas of Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Since1996,BKB has been operating from the spacious temporary occupational land (TOL) measuring at 1.0 acre in the Lambak Kanan Industrial Area in Jalan Berakas, which was granted by His Majesty’s Government through the Land Transport Department. In that same year, BKB workshop was graded with a CLASS ‘A’ after successfully complying to each of the 9 stringent requirements set by the relevant government authorities facilitating several vehicle’s need in: -

a) Heavy Equipment Vehicle Centre

b) Vehicle Inspection Service

b) Car & Bus Rental Service

d) Import & Sales of Overseas Used Vehicle

e) Insurance Authorised Workshop Repairer

f) 24 Hours Roadside Assistance & Towing Service

BKB was then incorporated on 04th February 2002.

BKB Milestone

In support of the National Road Safety Council’s (MKKJR) ‘Brunei Darussalam Road Safety Strategic Plan 2025’ under Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications; BKB has taken an effort, another milestone in its book and an initiative in expanding its towing services to caters all heavy vehicles types weighing 2.5 tonnes up to above 8 tonnes.

The Minister of Transport and Infocommunicationsacknowledged and personally recognized BKB efforts and its initiative supporting National Road Safety Council in pursuing to promote road safety in Negara Brunei Darussalam.

BKB has a total fleet of eight (8) units of heavy equipment tow trucks in which there are five (5) large sized trucks and three (3) medium sized trucks.

Over the years since March 2021, BKB has experienced the increase of call requests for heavy equipment towing services.

BKB launched its new heavy vehicles towing service on Saturday, 6th March 2021 as its main office in Lambak Kanan Industrial area. Officiating the launch was the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications – Yang Mulia Awang Haji Mohd Hairul Mohd Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim on behalf of the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications.

BKB is the only company in Negara Brunei Darussalam that has all the necessary resources and experiences to provide heavy duty towing services; which required experience and well knowledge in operating the vehicles. BKB truck driver personnel are certified trained professionals and highly experienced of over 15 years.
